Drywall Sanding
The walls and ceiling were smoothed down with 150 grit mesh sand paper. The mesh type sand paper is best for sanding drywall, because you can get the dust buildup out easily. The corners were sanded with a foam corner sanding block, which is a time saver and gives great results. After all the sanding was done a damp cloth was used to remove any dust left on the walls. A Shop Vac was needed to remove all of that dust off the floor.
Ceiling Paint
The first coat of paint was rolled on the ceiling. I'm very happy with the coverage of the Pittsburgh Paints & Stains® Ultra Interior Matte White Latex Ceiling Paint & Primer! I would recommend it and its very affordable. The ceiling came out very smooth and bright. Next week we will continue with painting.
