Our New Project
I am launching a new project in home improvement/DIY. We are adding a 12X30 addition onto our house. This will include a basement area that is 9X15 that will be a saferoom with a trap door for access. The upper part will be our walk-in closet, home office, and some addition bathroom space. Part of the foundation will be block where the basement is not at. Below is a layout.
It will be place on the end of the house in the blue area shown below.
The storm shelter will be built the FEMA storm P320 standard. You can find that info here. As progress is made in the coming month I will post updates of each step. I am excited to share the project and all the details. If you have any questions let us know and we will help you.
