March 25 - It Runs...Well Kinda
This is a special mid week blog. The nice weather this evening
allowed us to get outside and work on the truck.
First, we replaced the cap and rotor assembly. We changed the coil wire.
because it was rusted really bad on the end. We have the plugs and wires
left to change. After changing the cap we tried starting it but it would
not start. I pour a little gas in the intake and it fired right up!
It ran for a few seconds and died. So it kinda runs.
I have to troubleshoot the lack of fuel from the tank.
I can hear the pump run so I’m going to try adding gas.
However, it may end up needing a new fuel pump.
Second, my daughter wanted to put the wheels on that I mentioned
in another blog post. We got one side on and I must say it
looks really good. She loves it so much.
